Arsenal will be able to make their first official signing of the summer transfer window when it opens on June 1.
Due to a special registration period for the expanded Club World Cup, the Premier League transfer window will briefly open early from Sunday, June 1 to Tuesday, June 10. All Premier League clubs, not just Chelsea and Manchester City who are competing in the tournament, will be allowed to conduct transfers during this time.
The main transfer window will reopen on Monday, June 16 and run until it closes on Monday, September 1. With the early window just a month away, Arsenal could take advantage of the opportunity to finalize some early deals.
According to football.london, Mikel Arteta and new sporting director Andrea Berta are looking to strengthen several positions this summer. Berta, working alongside managing director Richard Garlick, executive vice chairman Tim Lewis, and co-chairman Josh Kroenke, is tasked with not only improving the starting lineup but also adding crucial squad depth.
