40 medals available, with potential for more
Even if these players do not meet the five-game requirement, they could still receive medals. The Premier League provides the champions with 40 silver medals (2.25 inches/5.7 cm in diameter), which the club can distribute as they see fit—whether to players, coaches, or staff—once every player with at least five league appearances has been awarded one.
Additionally, the Premier League Board can grant extra medals if more than 39 players have met the five-game threshold, though this would only occur under those specific circumstances.
