Rodrygo shares mysterious post amid Liverpool and Arsenal transfer links, sparking widespread speculation.

Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has sparked speculation after sharing a cryptic social media post amid growing links to Liverpool and Arsenal.

The 24-year-old Brazilian has been the subject of transfer rumors for some time, especially following a dip in form and reduced playing time under former manager Carlo Ancelotti during the latter stages of the 2024/25 season.

Rodrygo, who is under contract with Real Madrid until 2028, was once hailed by teammate Jude Bellingham as the most gifted player at the club. However, with the arrival of new signings such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and tactical changes under incoming manager Xabi Alonso, his future at the Bernabéu looks increasingly uncertain.

He has been consistently linked with Premier League sides Liverpool and Arsenal, with Tottenham Hotspur also reportedly showing interest. According to The Guardian, Real Madrid are open to letting him leave this summer, while ESPN reports a potential price tag between €80–100 million (£69–87 million).

On Sunday, August 3, Rodrygo posted a series of Instagram photos with the caption: “Holidays completed. Clear mind and many missions ahead!” The post immediately drew attention, with fans interpreting it as a subtle hint regarding his future.

One fan commented, “Rodrygo keeps putting himself in the spotlight, almost screaming ‘I’m here.’ A huge talent.” Another joked, “I hope this mission doesn’t involve finding a new club.” A third speculated, “Many missions? He’s packing his bags, isn’t he? Lock him in Valdebebas!”

Despite the growing speculation, ESPN also states that Real Madrid maintain Rodrygo’s official stance is to remain at the club and that he hasn’t communicated any desire to leave.

Meanwhile, reports from AS suggest that Fenerbahçe manager José Mourinho is also interested in signing Rodrygo, along with his Madrid teammates David Alaba and Brahim Diaz, as the Portuguese coach looks to build a squad capable of winning silverware in Turkey. Mourinho has already added players like Sofyan Amrabat, Milan Skriniar, and Jhon Duran to his roster this summer.
