Reports say Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Atletico Madrid are monitoring Van Dijk’s situation as Liverpool face difficulties in renewing his contract.

Liverpool are still pushing to finalize a new contract for Virgil van Dijk, despite growing interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

The Dutch center-back, along with Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold, is entering the final months of his current deal and could potentially leave on a free transfer this summer.

Although Liverpool and Van Dijk’s representatives have been in negotiations for months, they have yet to reach an agreement, with the contract duration reportedly being a major sticking point. Meanwhile, TBR Football reports that Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich were present to scout Van Dijk during Liverpool’s recent 1-0 Champions League victory over PSG.

Van Dijk’s camp maintains that no talks are ongoing with other clubs, but top sides are closely watching how the situation unfolds. Liverpool remain optimistic but are running out of time to secure their captain’s future.
