Liverpool’s Champions League elimination at the hands of PSG could influence the futures of several key players, including Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk.
As reported by L’Équipe, Van Dijk has been presented with a massive offer from Al-Hilal, reportedly exceeding €20 million net per year. However, the Dutch centre-back has yet to give a response, as he remains focused on Liverpool’s remaining objectives this season — including the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle and the ongoing Premier League title race.
In addition, Al-Hilal reportedly made a move for Barcelona’s Raphinha, but the winger turned it down, opting to focus on his career with Barça and Brazil as he looks ahead to the 2026 World Cup.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a €80 million bid for Xavi Simons as they look to strengthen their squad.
