Liverpool are gearing up for a busy summer transfer window as they edge closer to securing the Premier League title.
Following Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Everton, Liverpool now require just four more wins to be crowned champions this season.
Despite their strong campaign, the club is expected to make significant investments in the transfer market, with several key areas demanding Arne Slot’s attention.
Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold could all leave the club as free agents at the end of the season. Alexander-Arnold, in particular, has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, with speculation suggesting he is set to depart.
Liverpool Prioritizing Attacking Reinforcements
Bolstering the attack is Liverpool’s main objective ahead of the summer window, and they have already identified potential signings.
According to Football Insider, the Reds are preparing a high-profile bid for West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen. The versatile England international can operate on both wings and as a central forward, making him an attractive option.
With Salah’s potential departure and Darwin Núñez continuing to struggle, Liverpool view Bowen as a player who could fill both roles in attack.
Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak remains Liverpool’s primary transfer target, but the club is also exploring other, more affordable options. Signing Isak would require breaking the Premier League transfer record.
Bowen has been one of West Ham’s standout performers this season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 29 appearances, despite the team’s struggles.
While replacing Núñez is already a priority for Liverpool, Salah’s unresolved contract situation may force them to find another marquee attacker as well.
