Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has been linked with a potential departure from the club at the end of the season.
As reported by MARCA, Spanish giants Real Madrid are monitoring the 26-year-old Argentine and could target him in the future.
In response to the speculation, Mac Allister’s father, Carlos Mac Allister—who co-represents him alongside Juan Gemelli—addressed the rumors in an interview. He stated that Alexis is content at Liverpool and unlikely to leave anytime soon.
Speaking to MARCA, he said: “At the moment, I don’t think he’ll leave Liverpool. Time will tell. Alexis is very happy there. He lives in Manchester, close to Robertson Gómez and just a few blocks from Lisandro Martínez. He’s adapted well—speaks English, understands the culture, and communicates with people. It’s been one of the best things to happen to him, which made settling in much easier.”
Mac Allister is clearly enjoying life at Liverpool, and the club appears to be a perfect fit for him at this stage of his career. Though he has expressed an interest in playing in Spain one day, there’s no urgency for a move.
Since arriving from Brighton, Mac Allister has become a vital part of Liverpool’s midfield and a key contributor to their success. With the Reds leading the Premier League title race, he remains focused on helping them secure major honors.
Despite Real Madrid’s reported interest, Liverpool are not looking to part ways with the midfielder and would only consider an extraordinary offer for him.
