Mohamed Salah on the Ballon d’Or: “My only focus is on Liverpool winning the Premier League.”

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah delivered a stellar performance in the 19th round of the Premier League against West Ham, scoring once and providing two assists.

This marks the eighth time this season that the Egyptian has both scored and assisted in a single Premier League match, setting a new record in the competition. Salah expressed his ambitions, stating, “I want Liverpool to win the league, and I want to be part of it.”

Additionally, Salah reached his 20th goal of the season before January 1, achieving this milestone for the eighth consecutive campaign.

Speaking on Sky Sports after Liverpool’s dominant 5–0 win over West Ham, Jamie Redknapp praised Salah, saying, “What Mohamed Salah is doing right now is frightening. He’s phenomenal, absolutely incredible. Liverpool were ruthless, and Salah was instrumental in that. He looks like he’s loving his football—he’s a phenomenon and unbelievably effective.”

Liverpool remain at the top of the Premier League and are strong contenders for the title, though this season could potentially be Salah’s last at Anfield.
