Mikel Arteta receives major boost as two strikers express desire to join Arsenal in a £106.6m dual transfer.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has received a significant boost in his pursuit of attacking reinforcements, as reports indicate that two strikers, Benjamin Šeško and Ollie Watkins, are keen to join the Gunners in a potential £106.6 million double deal.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal have ‘convinced’ both Šeško and Watkins to make the move to the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners had previously inquired about Šeško during the January transfer window but were informed by RB Leipzig that the 21-year-old Slovenian international was not available. However, recent developments suggest that Šeško is now open to a summer transfer to Arsenal.

In addition, Arsenal made a late move for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins in January, which was turned down. The 27-year-old English striker, who has been in impressive form for Villa, is reportedly interested in joining Arteta’s side. The combined valuation for both players is estimated at £106.6 million, with Arsenal expected to pursue these deals in the upcoming summer transfer window.

These potential signings come as Arsenal aim to bolster their attacking options, addressing concerns over goal-scoring consistency and providing Arteta with additional firepower for the next season.
