Mikel Arteta on January transfer window ambitions: ‘Options are scarce, but we’ll be ready’

Mikel Arteta, speaking to Arsenal’s official website ahead of the January transfer window, said, “We’ll see how things progress. Hopefully, the squad will be in a much better state than it is now, but it’s hard to predict.”

He added, “We’re ready to make moves if necessary and have the ability to do so, but the transfer window is unpredictable and challenging. Opportunities are scarce, but we’ll be ready.”

Arsenal may consider bolstering their squad for the second half of the season as they aim to compete with Liverpool for the Premier League title.

With Bukayo Saka out of action for at least two months, the attacking lineup could be a key focus area.

Reflecting on his five years at Arsenal, Arteta described his journey as a “dream turned into reality.”
