Liverpool vs Arsenal: Mac Allister Issues Message to Piero Hincapie Following Their Encounter

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister sent a message to new Arsenal signing Piero Hincapie following their clash during Argentina’s 1-0 loss to Ecuador in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday. The match was intense, with both teams seeing red cards as Nicolas Otamendi and Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo were sent off just before and after halftime.

A penalty scored by former West Ham striker Enner Valencia in first-half stoppage time secured the upset victory for Ecuador, who moved up to second place in the World Cup qualifying table. However, it was Mac Allister who grabbed attention after the final whistle with a social media post that Hincapie and others responded to directly.

Mac Allister Shares Video of Confrontation with Hincapie
In a clip posted on Mac Allister’s official Instagram, the former Brighton midfielder is seen confronting Hincapie as the defender argued with the referee. The World Cup winner charged at Hincapie, pushed him away, and shouted at him.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Willian Pacho appeared to intervene, though somewhat casually, as Mac Allister continued to approach Hincapie, expressing his frustration.

The slow-motion video was captioned by Mac Allister with “VOS NO SOS ASI,” meaning “YOU ARE NOT LIKE THAT,” and tagged Hincapie.

Several players joined the conversation—Mac Allister’s Liverpool teammate Curtis Jones reacted with a laughing emoji, while former Reds midfielder Tyler Morton, now at Lyon, wrote, “Go on Macca.”

Hincapie himself replied humorously, commenting, “Como te gusta papi,” which translates to “How do you like it, daddy?”

The official Latin Premier League account also joined in, aiming to keep the mood light by saying, “I love you both,” showing the interaction was all in good spirits.
