Liverpool supporters are convinced that Alexander Isak is set to join after noticing a clue on Newcastle’s website.

Liverpool Fans Speculate Alexander Isak Transfer After Noticing Website Clue

Liverpool supporters believe Alexander Isak may be on the verge of a move to Anfield after spotting a potential hint on Newcastle United’s official website.

Following the completion of a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike, Liverpool now appear to have turned their attention to Newcastle striker Isak.

Reports suggest the Reds are ready to smash the British transfer record for a second time this summer, with a bid worth around £130 million expected soon.

However, securing Isak won’t be straightforward. Newcastle are reportedly determined to keep hold of their star forward, even though he has skipped the club’s pre-season training camp—possibly to push for the move.

Liverpool fans now believe Newcastle may have accepted that Isak’s exit is inevitable after noticing something during the launch of the club’s new away kit.

On Tuesday, Newcastle unveiled their 2025/26 away strip, which is set to be released on August 1. Several players—such as Jacob Murphy, Sandro Tonali, and Joelinton—featured in the promotional content.

But fans quickly pointed out that Isak was not included in the video or promotional materials, sparking speculation that his transfer is nearly complete.

One fan posted on X: “Isak not in the video? I thought he wasn’t for sale?” Another added: “No Isak? Welcome to Liverpool, Alex.” A third fan on Instagram wondered if Isak had been removed from the video edit.

What’s the Latest on Isak’s Potential Move?

Speaking from Seoul ahead of Newcastle’s pre-season clash with the K-League XI, manager Eddie Howe addressed the swirling transfer rumors.

Howe reaffirmed that the club still considers Isak a key player and emphasized that Newcastle remain in control of the situation.

“He is still our player. He’s under contract,” Howe said. “To an extent, we control what happens next. I hope all possibilities remain open, but ultimately, it’s not entirely up to me.

“We’ve had no formal offers for Alex from any club. My hope is that he stays and continues with us next season.”
