His inclusion caught the attention of Liverpool supporters, as he hasn’t featured in recent games against Crystal Palace or Bournemouth. Manager Michael O’Neill appears to be optimistic that the 22-year-old will recover in time for international duty next month.
Right-Back Injury Woes Continue
Bradley’s call-up may raise concerns among fans who fear he’s being rushed back too soon from his hamstring injury. On the flip side, it might also suggest he’s nearing full fitness.
It remains uncertain when he’ll be available for Liverpool, though Slot did mention in a Thursday press conference (via Liverpool Echo) that Bradley took part in a brief training session with the squad.
He’s unlikely to be ready for the clash against Newcastle, and with Frimpong ruled out and Gomez potentially not fit to start, Slot might need to field someone out of position at right-back—most likely Dominik Szoboszlai.
