Liverpool are looking to sign a left-back, with Richard Hughes handling the situation, but according to The Times, it is “unlikely” to happen this month.
The outlet reported on January 3 that reinforcements at left-back will be needed for Liverpool, but not in the January transfer window.
Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez has been frequently linked with a move to the Reds and has recently changed agents to one who also represents Federico Chiesa. The report indicates that Liverpool’s sporting director, Hughes, will be working on a potential deal, with Alphonso Davies also a target.
Kerkez’s Importance to Bournemouth
Milos Kerkez has been a key player for Bournemouth this season as they push for a European spot. The 21-year-old Hungarian left-back has played in every league match, contributing one goal and two assists. His impressive performances have attracted interest from Liverpool, underlining his potential at the top level.
However, Bournemouth sees him as a vital part of their season and is unwilling to sell him in January. Kerkez joined the Cherries last summer for £15.5 million from AZ Alkmaar and is under a long-term contract.

Kerkez even recently commented on Szoboszlai’s social media, sparking speculation.
