Liverpool fans go wild as £35m transfer target ‘likes’ posts hinting at Anfield move

Liverpool fans are buzzing with excitement after a key transfer target hinted at a potential move by liking social media posts about joining the Reds.

On Saturday, Liverpool’s title hopes under Arne Slot faced a setback with a thrilling 2-2 draw against Fulham at Anfield. The game took an early turn when Andrew Robertson received a straight red card, adding to the frustrations of fans already critical of his inconsistent performances this season.

In light of the match, fans have set their sights on a possible replacement for the Scottish left-back. American defender Antonee Robinson impressed with a standout performance at Anfield, leading many supporters to call for Liverpool to pursue him in the upcoming transfer window.

Adding to the speculation, Robinson was seen liking Instagram comments from Liverpool fans urging him to join the Premier League leaders. This sparked excitement among the fanbase, with one supporter writing, “He was so good last night it made me jealous. Kostas is great, and Robbo has his moments, but DAMN.” Another added, “Robinson yesterday moved differently—so precise, so composed,” while a third speculated, “That performance was too much; he was clearly trying to impress us. He wants to play for us.”

Earlier in the season, reports suggested that both Liverpool and Manchester United were eyeing the 27-year-old as a potential replacement for Robertson at Liverpool or Luke Shaw at United. Fulham reportedly values Robinson at around £35 million.

While Fulham were previously open to a January transfer, Robinson’s growing importance to the team this season could complicate any potential deal. For now, Liverpool fans remain hopeful of securing the highly-rated left-back.
