Liverpool boss Arne Slot has provided an injury update, bringing positive news for Alexis Mac Allister but a disappointment for Conor Bradley.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has shared a mixed injury update, with good news for Alexis Mac Allister but a setback for Conor Bradley.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Reds’ clash with Newcastle United, Slot provided a general squad update. He confirmed that Mac Allister should be fine after suffering a facial injury against Manchester City, having been struck by the ball.

However, Bradley faces a period on the sidelines. Slot declined to specify the nature of the injury but confirmed that it will keep him out for several weeks, meaning Trent Alexander-Arnold will have to feature in every match.

He stated: “Alexis will be okay. He will train with us today. Conor is out for a few weeks, but I cannot give exact details. It will take some time before he returns.”
