In recent weeks, Slot has made a handful of in-game changes that have positively affected the outcomes of games, with Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott scoring important goals for the club against Brentford and Lille.

Cole feels Liverpool’s strength in depth has really come to the forefront recently, suggesting that the Reds are the best in the world in his regard.

“What I find unique with Liverpool is the amount of quality and depth in their squad,” said Cole on TNT Sports.

“I don’t know how they’ve done it. The emergence of Jones, Elliott making an impact and players like Nunez impacting Premier League games.

“In the whole of Europe, they are the most equipped. Fighting on all fronts, have we started talking about the full package yet [referring to a potential quadruple]?”
