Gary Neville has predicted where Arsenal will finish in the Premier League this season following Bukayo Saka’s injury setback.

Gary Neville has shared his thoughts on where Arsenal will finish in the Premier League this season following Bukayo Saka’s injury setback.

Neville remains confident in his prediction that Arsenal will clinch the league title despite their current position. The Gunners, sitting third in the table, have had a mixed start to the season. Wins against Aston Villa and Tottenham, as well as a hard-fought draw at Manchester City with 10 men, offered hope of breaking their two-decade title drought.

However, a recent four-game winless streak and dropped points against Fulham and Everton have left Arsenal six points behind leaders Liverpool, having played one game more.

Despite the setback, Neville is standing by his preseason prediction, expressing faith in Mikel Arteta’s team. Speaking on The Overlap US: It’s Called Soccer, he said, “I’m going to stick with Arsenal to win the title because I believe they’ll hit form. They have a good run of fixtures over Christmas, and I think they’ll close the gap and hit their stride in the new year.”

Neville also weighed in on the top four race, predicting it will include Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal, while expressing doubts about Tottenham, Aston Villa, and other challengers. He added, “It’s the first time in 15 years I haven’t tipped Manchester United for a top-four finish.”

Arsenal will face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday following their midweek Carabao Cup clash, before concluding the year with a home match against Ipswich Town.
