The FA Cup third round is here, and talkSPORT will be covering all the action this weekend.
The competition kicked off with Everton narrowly defeating Peterborough and Graham Potter experiencing his first loss as West Ham’s manager. Today, Liverpool face Accrington Stanley, while Chelsea and Manchester City also take on lower-league teams.
On Sunday, National League side Tamworth host Tottenham, and Manchester United travel to Arsenal for another exciting match.

Liverpool aren’t holding back in the FA Cup!
They’re set to play League Two side Accrington Stanley at 12:15 pm, and manager Arne Slot has named a strong starting lineup.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will start, along with Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, and Dominik Szoboszlai. The 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha and Tyler Morton are also included, with the rest of the lineup made up of first-team players.

‘A special competition’
Arne Slot will oversee his first FA Cup match as Liverpool face Accrington Stanley. In his program notes, he expressed his excitement for the competition, noting that while this is his first time participating, he has long admired its unique appeal.
Slot wrote: “Although the FA Cup is new to me as a participant, like everyone who watched English football growing up, I understand what makes it so special. I’m looking forward to experiencing it firsthand.”
He also welcomed Accrington’s manager John Doolan, along with the players, staff, and supporters, adding, “Accrington earned their place in the third round with impressive victories over Rushall and Swindon Town, so we know they’ll be eager to perform well once again.”
