Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed his frustration with the penalty decision that allowed Everton to equalize in their 1-1 Premier League draw.
He said, “It was never a penalty. We conceded a penalty that, in my view, was not a penalty, and it’s very clear. There’s not enough contact. The contact begins outside the box, and inside, there’s nothing.
“If there was any contact inside the box, O’Brien should have been sent off. He already had a yellow card and prevented David Raya from playing the ball out,” Arteta added.
