Arsenal star ‘secures deal to exit the club’ just hours before the transfer deadline.

An Arsenal player has reportedly finalized a deal to leave the club with just an hour remaining in the transfer window.

On Sunday afternoon, the Gunners delivered their most impressive performance of the season, thrashing defending champions Manchester City in the Premier League.

In front of an ecstatic crowd at the Emirates Stadium, goals from Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz, and Ethan Nwaneri secured a dominant 5-1 victory for Mikel Arteta’s side.

With this win, Arsenal are now just six points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Despite injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka, the club did not sign an attacking player during the January transfer window.

It has since been reported that an Arsenal star has agreed to leave the club at the end of the season.

According to The Metro, sources in Italy claim that midfielder Jorginho has signed a pre-contract with Flamengo.

Earlier this month, Jorginho was asked about his future and is now expected to bring his eight-year Premier League career to an end when the current season concludes.

He stated: “My contract runs until June, and my focus right now is on the next game in three days. There’s not much else to consider, you know?”

Jorginho continued: “Football is full of surprises, as we all know. My priority is always the next match. I don’t pay attention to the transfer rumors because every window brings speculation, and if you dwell on it, it can drain your energy and affect your performance.”

Arsenal will be back in action on Wednesday night when they face Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
