“As I’ve said before, we’re not a team that comfortably leads 3-0 or 4-0 at halftime through moments of brilliance. Every win this season has come through hard work, except for a couple of matches.”

While some, like John Aldridge, have heavily criticized the performance, calling it ‘abysmal,’ Slot has taken a more measured approach. His perspective aligns more with Gary Neville, who acknowledged that it was simply an off day in an otherwise excellent season.
With an 11-point gap to Arsenal, there’s no need for panic, but Liverpool will be fully aware of the importance of securing a win against West Ham on Sunday.
