Arne Slot’s Full Response When Asked About Liverpool’s Interest in Milos Kerkez This Summer

Liverpool Linked with Milos Kerkez, but No Move Confirmed Yet

Liverpool already boasts a strong squad, but many believe that Milos Kerkez could be a valuable addition in future transfer windows.

When asked about the possibility of targeting the Hungarian left-back in the summer, Arne Slot remained diplomatic, saying:

“I don’t think I need to discuss players we’re interested in, especially one currently playing for Bournemouth. He’s having a great season, as are many other players here. That reflects well on the manager and sporting director, both past and present, for bringing in top talent and maximizing their potential. The player you mentioned is among them, but I’m not singling out individuals—they’re all performing at a high level.”

While Slot’s comments acknowledged Kerkez’s talent, they stopped short of confirming any concrete interest from Liverpool.

Kerkez’s Future and Liverpool’s Interest

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano previously reported that Liverpool is “closely monitoring” the 21-year-old’s development, making him a player to watch as the season progresses.

However, Kerkez himself dismissed speculation, stating: “I will not go to Liverpool. For everybody listening, I will not go to Liverpool.” While this seems definitive, some optimistic fans may interpret it as ruling out only a move in this transfer window.

At this stage, there appears to be admiration from Slot, reported interest from the club, but hesitation from the player. With potential changes looming in Liverpool’s left-back position, the situation remains uncertain—but only time will tell who the club will ultimately pursue.
