Arne Slot has hinted that a Liverpool player could return from injury for Wednesday night’s Merseyside derby.
While Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez are confirmed absentees, Ryan Gravenberch and Alisson Becker are expected to be available after recent injury concerns. Conor Bradley, sidelined since February’s draw with Aston Villa, trained with the squad on Monday as he continues his recovery.
Speaking ahead of the derby, Slot provided an update on Bradley, stating that he is back in training, but a decision is yet to be made on his involvement. He acknowledged the need for caution, as Bradley has only had a few training sessions following a long spell out.
Although reports suggested the derby might come too soon for Bradley, Slot’s comments indicate a possibility of him featuring in some capacity, though whether as a starter or substitute remains uncertain. Given his previous injury setbacks, Liverpool may opt to delay his return until Sunday’s match against Fulham.
