Last season’s thrilling title race saw Arsenal in contention alongside two other teams for England’s top football prize. However, as Liverpool eventually faltered, Manchester City surged ahead to secure a record fourth straight title, with Arsenal narrowly missing out by just two points, despite having more wins than their famous ‘Invincibles’ season. Liverpool secured third, while Aston Villa edged out Tottenham for the final Champions League spot.
But this season has unfolded dramatically — City have collapsed in form, while Arne Slot’s Liverpool have stormed ahead, leading by 23 points over last season’s champions. Arsenal are also struggling to keep up, trailing Liverpool by 15 points.
