Liverpool are actively looking to strengthen their attack this summer, with new information revealing progress behind the scenes about a possible move for Rodrygo.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg posted on X that Liverpool are “closely monitoring Rodrygo’s situation,” viewing the 24-year-old as a potential candidate should Luis Diaz leave the club.
The report states that Liverpool have already “informed about conditions and current status,” and Real Madrid is reportedly open to selling the player.
This marks a significant development, suggesting the rumors have more substance than mere speculation.
Rodrygo’s wages would be much higher than Diaz’s
Rodrygo, who scored 14 goals and made 11 assists in 54 appearances last season, is aware of Real Madrid’s willingness to sell and is exploring other options.
