Liverpool appear to be edging closer to finalising the signing of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with the Reds by sources such as The Guardian, following an impressive campaign in the Premier League with Bournemouth.
While no official confirmation has been made yet, there may be a hint that a deal is nearing completion. According to Metro, excitement is growing among Liverpool supporters after news emerged that Kerkez has unexpectedly left the Hungarian national team camp for undisclosed reasons.
There’s no indication of an injury, and the Hungarian coach hasn’t mentioned any such issue, prompting speculation that Kerkez could be stepping away to wrap up a move to Anfield.
Kerkez would represent an exciting addition for Liverpool
The young full-back has displayed significant promise at Bournemouth, and it has long been expected that a larger club would move in to secure his services. Now, it looks like Liverpool are doing just that, likely viewing him as a long-term successor to Andrew Robertson.
