Arne Slot appeals to Liverpool fans during open-top bus parade.

Arne Slot had a message for Liverpool fans as the team’s open-top bus parade kicked off. The Dutch manager, who replaced Jurgen Klopp at Anfield last year, guided Liverpool to a Premier League title in his debut season.

After securing the championship with a dominant win over Tottenham Hotspur last month, the Reds were officially crowned on Sunday following a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace in their final match of the campaign.

Festivities continued into the Bank Holiday Monday, with Liverpool parading through the city atop an open-top bus, celebrating the title with their supporters.

The parade officially began at 2:30 p.m., and it wasn’t long before fans broke into chants of “Campione, Campione!”, which clearly thrilled Slot.

Grinning broadly, Slot encouraged the crowd to raise their voices even more, gesturing enthusiastically for louder chants.

He had already expressed his excitement about the parade shortly after the final whistle against Palace.
