An ex–Sky Sports presenter has asserted that Liverpool are all but guaranteed to land two highly rated talents in the upcoming summer transfer window.

A former Sky Sports host, Richard Keys, insists Liverpool will almost certainly complete two big-name deals when the summer transfer window opens.

With the Reds sitting just three points shy of clinching the 2024/25 Premier League crown, supporters are already speculating on Arne Slot’s squad for next season. After a relatively quiet year in the market, the Dutch manager has promised a flurry of activity once the window opens in June, with several marquee targets linked to Anfield.

Keys, writing on his blog, argues that although locking down Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk on new contracts was the right move, it isn’t the same as recruiting fresh talent. He believes Liverpool’s true summer priorities are a reliable goal-getter—given that both Diogo Jota and Darwin Núñez have fallen short this season—and a modern left-back to succeed the ageing Andrew Robertson.

According to Keys, “Two certs are Isak and Kerkez, but that won’t be enough either.” After a remarkable campaign with Newcastle—21 goals in 30 Premier League outings—Alexander Isak has emerged as one of Europe’s hottest strikers, and is expected to command a fee in the region of £120 million. Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s breakout left-back Milos Kerkez is another prized prospect, with a likely price tag around £40 million.
