Paris Saint-Germain remain in the hunt for UEFA Champions League glory and are set to take on Arsenal in the semi-finals. Despite the tough matchup, PSG manager Luis Enrique appears calm and confident.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of their Ligue 1 Matchday 29 clash against FC Nantes, the 54-year-old suggested that the team is leaving no stone unturned in their preparations.
He confidently stated that PSG would look to knock out Arsenal just as they did Liverpool, saying, “We’ll prepare the same way we did for Liverpool. Arsenal are a team with immense potential. Ligue 1 features similar qualities. We don’t customize our preparations based on that, but we always strive for excellence,” Enrique noted.
Having already eliminated Liverpool in the round of 16, PSG are now focused on doing the same to Mikel Arteta’s squad. The first leg of their Champions League semi-final is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, at 8 p.m. GMT.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli remains grounded, saying, “We’re going to keep our feet on the ground because we haven’t achieved anything yet.”
