Mikel Arteta addressed the media ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League match against Brentford, providing updates on player fitness.
When asked about Kai Havertz, Arteta confirmed journalist David Ornstein’s optimistic report, stating that the forward could return in the coming weeks.
“Hopefully, we can have him back before the end of the season,” Arteta said regarding the German international.
Following the Real Madrid game, Arsenal has no new injury concerns, despite Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka picking up minor knocks.
“So with Dec and Bukayo, they are both fit,” Arteta reassured. “It was just two knocks, and they are available for tomorrow.”
David Ornstein previously reported that Havertz has a “possibility” of returning before the season concludes.
