Several reports suggest that key players could leave Anfield this summer, and one of the biggest names linked with an exit has now faced a serious obstacle.

As the transfer window opens in June, Liverpool’s attack could undergo a major overhaul, with Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, and Luis Diaz all rumored to be possible departures to fund moves for Isak or other forwards.

Of the trio, Diaz seemed the most likely to leave, amid claims he was prepared to push for a transfer to Barcelona if the club made an offer. However, his hopes of joining the Spanish side have taken a major hit.

Instead, Barcelona is prioritizing players like Athletic Club’s Nico Williams or Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman.
