Liverpool manager Arne Slot is reportedly considering offloading up to five senior players as part of a major squad overhaul this summer.

Following Arsenal’s slip-up against Manchester United and Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Southampton, the Reds look poised to secure the Premier League title. Since taking over from Jurgen Klopp, Slot has overseen impressive improvements in several players, helping Liverpool emerge as one of Europe’s top sides this season.

As the summer transfer window approaches, much attention has been on the uncertain futures of key stars like Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk, whose contracts are set to expire soon.

However, according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Slot is also planning a wider revamp of the squad and has reportedly approved the potential sales of Caoimhin Kelleher, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa, and Diogo Jota to make room for new signings.

Kelleher’s departure has been speculated for months, as the Irish goalkeeper has openly expressed a desire for more regular playing time, with Chelsea among the clubs interested. With Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili expected to arrive this summer after agreeing to join last year, Kelleher’s exit seems increasingly likely.

Chiesa, who only arrived last summer, is also rumored to be on the way out after struggling for consistent minutes, while the inclusion of Endo — who has become vital in recent weeks — and others like Elliott and Jota is likely to surprise many supporters.
