Liverpool fans are going crazy over Virgil van Dijk’s latest post on social media.

He shared: “It’s official. I’m proud to announce that along with Willem II, we’re bringing back the international youth tournament this September. The world’s biggest clubs will arrive in Tilburg to compete in the first-ever ‘Virgil’s Legacy Trophy’ U13s tournament. I’m passionate about inspiring others and want to provide a proper platform for the next generation to shine — with the best pitches, facilities, and officials.”
However, many Liverpool fans initially thought he was about to announce a contract extension.
One fan reacted: “I thought it was the contract extension.”
