With 10 Gameweeks remaining, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has set a new record for the most Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points in a single season.
On Saturday, Salah increased his Premier League goal tally to 27 as Arne Slot’s team secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory over bottom-placed Southampton, extending their lead over Arsenal to 16 points.
The Egyptian forward will earn 15 points—including bonus points—for 72% of FPL managers this weekend, bringing his season total to an astonishing 306.
This surpasses his previous record of 303 points, which he set during his debut season for Liverpool in 2017/18.
Remarkably, the 32-year-old remains the only player in FPL history to surpass the 300-point mark in a single season, with Luis Suárez being the closest challenger at 295 points.
But how high could Salah’s total climb by the season’s end on May 25? If he continues averaging 10.6 points per match, he could reach a staggering 401 points.
Liverpool’s upcoming fixtures include matches against Everton, Fulham, West Ham, Leicester City, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton, and Crystal Palace.
According to the Premier League website, Salah earned 98 points in the reverse fixtures against these teams earlier in the season, making a 400-point total a realistic target given his current form.
Fans on social media were quick to react to Salah breaking his own FPL record.
One fan pointed out, “There’s still half of March, April, and May to go,” while another simply declared, “FPL Heritage. There will never be another like him.”
Another user admitted, “I haven’t touched my FPL since January, but my Salah captaincy has been saving me.”

It has been a standout season for Salah, who has contributed to 44 Premier League goals (27 goals, 17 assists), the joint-most by any player in a 38-game season.
