Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards leave the CBS Sports set after hearing Alisson Becker’s post-match comments following Liverpool’s victory.

Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards were spotted leaving the CBS Sports set after hearing Alisson Becker’s response to their question.

The Brazilian goalkeeper was the standout performer in Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash against Paris Saint-Germain, delivering a brilliant display. The 32-year-old made nine crucial saves to keep PSG at bay before Harvey Elliott’s 87th-minute goal secured a vital 1-0 victory at the Parc des Princes.

With the win, Liverpool now hold the advantage heading into next week’s second leg at Anfield.

After the match, Alisson joined CBS Sports for an interview with Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards, Thierry Henry, and Kate Scott.

Richards asked the goalkeeper, “Have you seen our show, Alisson? Have you watched the clips online?”

When Alisson confirmed he had, Richards followed up, “Okay, perfect. So who’s your favorite?” He then tried to win over the Brazilian by showing off his Portuguese skills.

Alisson responded, “Nice Portuguese, by the way. I think I’d have to say Thierry—legend. When I was growing up, I watched a lot of Arsenal in the early 2000s when he was playing. That was the only team being shown on TV in Brazil.”

At that moment, both Richards and Carragher stood up and walked off the set in mock frustration as Alisson continued praising Henry. Richards jokingly remarked, “I’ve had enough of this.”

Henry thanked Alisson before shifting the conversation to a more technical discussion about his performance.

Reflecting on Alisson’s heroics, match-winner Elliott said, “This guy is unbelievable. The best in the world. He keeps us in so many games. Tonight, I had the opportunity to repay him. I don’t know where we’d be without him.”

Liverpool return to Premier League action this Saturday when they face Southampton at Anfield.
