Bukayo Saka shares ideal reaction after witnessing Arsenal’s dominant Champions League victory.

Bukayo Saka reacts with humor to Arsenal’s dominant Champions League display

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka shared his reaction to his teammates’ outstanding performance against PSV Eindhoven with a playful Instagram post.

Saka, sidelined since late December due to injury, has been unable to contribute on the pitch for over two months. Arsenal had struggled in attack recently due to multiple injuries in their forward line, but their luck turned in the Netherlands.

The Gunners stormed to a 3-0 lead in the first half with goals from Jurrien Timber, Ethan Nwaneri, and Mikel Merino. Martin Ødegaard, Leandro Trossard, and Riccardo Calafiori later added to the tally, sealing a dominant victory.

With such a commanding win, Arsenal have all but secured their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals ahead of next week’s return leg at the Emirates Stadium.

Watching from home, Saka took to social media to express his delight, posting the iconic meme of Michael Jackson eating popcorn from the Thriller music video.

Saka is currently recovering from hamstring surgery after sustaining the injury in Arsenal’s win over Crystal Palace just before Christmas. While he is not expected to return until after the March international break, an April comeback seems more likely.

Fortunately, Arsenal’s big lead means he won’t be needed for the second leg. However, with a potential quarter-final matchup against either Real Madrid or Atlético Madrid, Saka’s return could prove crucial.
