In a promotional video for Pro Direct Soccer, Alexander-Arnold showcases Adidas’ new Predator Elite Tongue x Moments boots, which feature references to legendary football moments. One of those moments is Zidane’s famous volley against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League final.
Recognizing the goal instantly, Alexander-Arnold says:
“I know what goal that is. That’s Zidane’s volley— for me, the best goal I’ve ever seen, the best goal ever scored.”
He continues, “To do that with your weak foot… You wouldn’t even believe how difficult that is. The best players in the world could try that 100 times with their stronger foot and still wouldn’t pull it off.”
