Milos Kerkez delivers fresh four-word Liverpool message after stating he ‘won’t’ join Reds

Milos Kerkez has been linked with a potential move to Liverpool, where he could reunite with his Hungary teammate, Dominik Szoboszlai.

Szoboszlai was instrumental in Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town, showcasing his playmaking skills. The midfielder opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a precise strike from outside the box and played a crucial role in Liverpool’s third goal, with his saved shot leading to Cody Gakpo’s rebound finish.

This season, Szoboszlai has been pivotal to Liverpool’s pursuit of four trophies, making 29 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals, and providing five assists. As the captain of Hungary’s national team, the 24-year-old is a key figure for his country and aims to lead them to the 2026 World Cup when qualifiers start in March.

Liverpool fans are eager to see Milos Kerkez join Szoboszlai at Anfield. The left-back has been a standout performer for AFC Bournemouth this season, starting every Premier League game. Bournemouth has surprised many, sitting just one point away from the Champions League spots after a stunning 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.

Kerkez, who previously described Szoboszlai as his best friend in football, recently interacted with him on Instagram, commenting, “Motivated you, my brother,” after Liverpool’s win over Ipswich. However, ahead of the Ipswich game, Kerkez reportedly dismissed rumors of a January move to Liverpool, stating on a live YouTube stream, “I will not go to Liverpool. For everybody listening, I will not go to Liverpool.”

This could suggest that while a January transfer is off the table, a future move isn’t entirely ruled out. Liverpool, who already have Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas as left-back options, may look to strengthen the position in the summer, especially with Robertson turning 31 in March.
