Thomas Tuchel, newly appointed as England’s head coach, has quickly begun assessing potential talent for the national team.
He departed the Tottenham vs Newcastle match early to attend Arsenal’s clash with Brighton, where English players Declan Rice, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly are expected to feature.
Arsenal, dealing with injuries and suspensions, are focused on extending their unbeaten run, while Brighton aim to break their winless streak.
“They are playing because they deserve to,” Mikel Arteta said of Arsenal’s academy players.
