Currently ranked fourth on Liverpool’s all-time scoring list, Salah is set to become a free agent this summer, with his uncertain future becoming a hot topic of discussion. Despite the speculation, the Egyptian forward has maintained his stellar form, netting 20 goals and driving Liverpool to the top of the Premier League and Champions League standings.

In November, Salah revealed that Liverpool had not made a contract offer, and he reiterated last month that there had been no progress. Speaking to Sky Sports’ Patrick Davison ahead of the Manchester United match at Anfield, Salah referred to this as his “last year in the club.” When pressed, he clarified, “So far? Yes. Going into the last six months, there’s no progress. We’re far away from any agreement, so we’ll just have to wait and see.”

According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain is closely monitoring Salah’s situation, with his representatives reportedly in “continuous discussions” with the French club. While clubs in Saudi Arabia have shown interest, the report states that no concrete steps have been taken to secure his transfer. Salah’s priority remains to extend his contract with Liverpool and continue playing in the Premier League.
