Declan Rice is confident that Arsenal can still compete for the Premier League title, despite Liverpool currently being in the lead.
“Hopefully, the new year brings us trophies—we’ve been striving for that. To reach the next level and be among the elite, you need to win trophies,” the midfielder shared with Amazon Prime.
“We can continue winning, but it won’t matter if we don’t win anything.”
“Liverpool are firing on all cylinders, as they were under (Jurgen) Klopp and now with (Arne) Slot. They don’t let anyone have a moment’s rest.”
“We need someone to help us out so that they can drop points. We can only focus on ourselves and hope that something will work out.”
Arsenal are currently six points behind Liverpool, who also have a game in hand against Everton.
