“Send them down” – Arsenal F.C. fans taunt Tottenham Hotspur F.C. following new refereeing complaint letter.

Arsenal F.C. supporters have reacted with disbelief after reports revealed that Tottenham Hotspur F.C. have written to Professional Game Match Officials Limited to question a series of recent refereeing calls.

While Arsenal sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League with nine fixtures remaining, their North London rivals are battling at the other end of the table — just four points above the relegation zone. Despite bringing in Igor Tudor, Spurs remain in real danger of slipping into the Championship, especially with the teams around them picking up crucial results.

Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown recently suggested Tudor is already under “serious pressure.” Meanwhile, Arsenal continue to chase not only the league crown but also European success, fuelling growing belief among their fans.

According to BBC Sport, Tottenham have formally contacted PGMOL over what they view as inconsistent officiating — particularly involving decisions inside the penalty area.

The move has sparked ridicule from sections of the Arsenal fanbase, who accuse Spurs of shifting blame amid a disappointing domestic campaign. Some even mocked the club’s relegation fears, with social media buzzing with sarcastic reactions from across North London.

However, many Tottenham supporters have backed the club’s decision, arguing there have been glaring inconsistencies in recent matches. They cite incidents such as a disallowed goal from Randal Kolo Muani against Arsenal, followed by a contentious goal from Harry Wilson that was allowed to stand despite what appeared to be a foul on Radu Drăgușin.
