Arteta urges Martinelli to step up in Saka’s absence: “Take responsibility now.”

Mikel Arteta is urging Gabriel Martinelli to step up and score goals in Bukayo Saka’s absence due to a hamstring injury.

After Martinelli’s strong performance in the 5-1 win over Crystal Palace, Arteta is keen for him to maintain that level of play.

The Arsenal manager told reporters, as quoted by Hayters: “Gabi thrives on challenges and is eager to take them on right away. He’s a player who embraces responsibility and is ready for a bigger role.”

Arteta emphasized that it is now up to all the attacking players to take on more responsibility.
