Liverpool fans were left disappointed last summer when Trent Alexander-Arnold made the move to Real Madrid. Despite the Premier League champions receiving £10m for the right-back, supporters were frustrated that he let his contract with his boyhood club run down. Recent reports suggest that English clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, and Newcastle, are preparing to rescue Trent from his Real Madrid struggles. Defensa Central claims a £35m bid is in the works and highlights how tough the transition has been.

“He hasn’t quite settled in at the club,” the report notes. With only five La Liga starts and fewer than 400 minutes played, Madrid are far from getting the expected return on their investment. Despite having a close friend, Jude Bellingham, in Spain, Trent is struggling to adapt both on and off the pitch.
