Arsenal has made a decisive statement regarding Raheem Sterling’s future at the Emirates, sparking significant fan discussion.
TBR Football exclusively reports that Arsenal has clarified their stance on whether they would consider terminating Sterling’s loan from Chelsea next month. Despite recent injury setbacks to both Sterling and Bukayo Saka, which will sideline the forward for several weeks, Arsenal has no plans to cancel the loan at this stage.
With only Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard available as senior wingers, speculation arose about Sterling’s potential early departure due to limited minutes played. However, Arsenal sources confirmed their intention to retain Sterling for the remainder of the season.
Meanwhile, discussions surrounding Leandro Trossard’s future have resurfaced. According to TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, the Saudi Pro League has renewed their interest in the Belgian winger. Although Arsenal is working to extend Trossard’s contract, they are also exploring options to sign another winger in 2025, with West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus emerging as a key target. West Ham may be open to selling Kudus, a situation Arsenal is monitoring closely.
However, Trossard’s potential departure next month seems unlikely, particularly with Saka’s injury, reported to be more severe than Sterling’s, reducing Arsenal’s willingness to sell the Belgian winger.
Sterling remains determined to succeed at Arsenal, despite his challenges so far.
