Slot expresses concern as Liverpool await verdict on Szoboszlai injury

“When a player goes off with a muscle injury like Joe, that’s usually not a good sign,” he said, adding that he “wouldn’t expect him to be in the squad next week.”

 

While the return of Conor Bradley from suspension and the availability of Jeremie Frimpong provide cover, Slot also confirmed Liverpool will soon be without Mohamed Salah due to AFCON duty — making Szoboszlai’s fitness even more critical.
