Mo Salah Linked with Stunning Move as Man Utd Urged to Table Bold Offer

 

 

Manchester United have been tipped to make a public approach for Mohamed Salah as the forward’s dramatic fallout with Liverpool boss Arne Slot continues.

 

Salah was left out of the squad for the clash against Inter Milan following his explosive interview, with Liverpool still managing a 1-0 Champions League win without him.

 

After the match, Jamie Carragher apologised to Salah live on CBS Sports, having labelled him a “disgrace” on Monday Night Football. Naturally, Slot faced questions about the Egyptian’s situation after the hard-fought victory at the San Siro, with Clarence Seedorf pressing him on Amazon Prime.

 

It remains unclear whether Salah will return to the team when Liverpool resume Premier League action on Saturday against Brighton. If he misses that game, it could prove to be his final appearance before he departs for the Africa Cup of Nations on December 15. A January exit has also been speculated, with Saudi clubs strongly linked.

 

However, a shock Premier League twist has emerged, with some tipping Manchester United as potential suitors — a move that would stun world football.

 

On Rio Ferdinand Presents, host Ste Howson asked Ferdinand whether United should consider signing Salah.

 

Ferdinand dismissed the idea of Salah joining their rivals, saying he’d still make a public bid.

 

Ferdinand: “No chance… Mo Salah isn’t going to Man United.”

Howson: “Depends how p**sed off he is.”

Ferdinand: “He doesn’t have that Rooney streak… not that Wazza trait.”

Howson: “But if you’re United, do you poke the bear?”

Ferdinand: “Yeah, I’d put an offer in… publicly.”

Howson: “I’d do it just for the chaos it would cause.”

 

Their comments were clearly made in jest. In reality, Salah moving to Old Trafford is almost impossible, given his iconic status at Liverpool.

 

He also isn’t a natural fit for Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 setup.

 

Salah has scored a remarkable 250 goals in 420 games, but has struggled this season — finding the net just five times in all competitions after last year’s stunning 34-goal tally.
