Federico Chiesa will miss Liverpool’s Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur due to a selection decision, as he is not yet fully match-fit.
His absence is not related to any injury, and he is expected to be available for upcoming games, according to David Lynch.
Chiesa has been out since late September and has made only four appearances for Liverpool this season. He recently made progress in his recovery by playing for Liverpool’s U21 team in their Premier League International Cup match against FC Nordsjaelland, where he scored a goal.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah could become the first Premier League player to record double figures in both goals and assists this season if he provides an assist against Spurs.
