Liverpool fans erupt in anger, claiming Arne Slot is “gone tonight” after a “disgraceful” turn of events.

Liverpool’s disastrous title defence reached a new low on Saturday, crashing to a 3-0 defeat at Anfield against a Nottingham Forest side fighting relegation.

A season that started poorly has sunk even further, with another dismal performance bringing their sixth league loss and dropping them to 11th in the table. Frustrated supporters blasted several underperforming players as the defence crumbled again, the midfield was overrun, and the attack failed to create any real threat.

Ibrahima Konaté came in for heavy criticism from fans, though he was far from the only target of their anger.

This marked a second consecutive 3-0 league loss, following a worrying pattern that has become all too familiar. With only three victories in their last 11 matches, a campaign that once looked so promising now appears to be spiralling out of control.

Many Liverpool fans are openly questioning Arne Slot’s future after this latest setback. Slot, who delivered a title in his debut season and earned comparisons to Jurgen Klopp, is now under intense pressure.

Despite overseeing a record-breaking transfer window where the club spent more than any other Premier League side, results have sharply declined. Talks over a new contract for Slot have stalled, and scrutiny on him is intensifying.

Supporters are increasingly turning on the manager, drawing unfavourable comparisons to his predecessor — and even to Manchester United’s often-criticised boss Ruben Amorim. Some fans are claiming he could be dismissed as soon as Monday, with a few even suggesting it might happen before the weekend ends, citing supposed “inside” sources.
